TPS79101DBVT

Working Principle

The TPS79101DBVT works with an adjustable resistor to establish the desired output voltage. When the output voltage drops below the reference voltage, the output transistor is turned on and current is delivered to the load. As the output voltage increases, the output transistor is turned off, controlling the output voltage at the reference level.

The TPS79101DBVT incorporates an internal and adjustable reference voltage. This reference voltage can be adjusted to a maximum of 60 volts through an external adjustment pin. The TPS79101DBVT also includes overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit protection, as well as thermal shutdown.

The output voltage is set by connecting a low value external resistor divider between the AVDD pin and the ADJ pin. This allows adjustment of the output voltage over a wide range, from 1.6 volts to 60 volts. The output voltage will remain stable regardless of line and load changes.
