TSN 1-2452 Working Principle

The TSN 1-2452 is based on the principle of Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). This principle requires a switching circuit to be connected between the input and output of a DC-DC converter. The switching circuit is connected to the power source and is turned on and off in a controlled manner. As a result, the input voltage is converted into pulses of varying width, which in turn controls the output voltage of the converter.

The switching circuit is made up of four main components – a power transistor, a driver circuit, a reference voltage circuit, and an error amplifier. The error amplifier compares the output voltage with the reference voltage and sends the output signal back to the driver circuit. This signal is used to adjust the pulses of the power transistor, and therefore, the output voltage.
