TUNAG004 application field and working principle
The TUNAG004 is an Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit, designed for a variety of applications. It utilizes several components, including two control boards and a mezzanine board. The two control boards are the TUNAG004 Master PTT Board and the TUNAG004 Expansion Processor Board. The mezzanine board is the TUNAG004 Mezzanine Extension Board.
Mezzanine Extension Board
The Mezzanine Extension Board provides additional I/O and memory expansion for the TUNAG004. It features dual 3-lane M.2 connectors, an LVDS connector, and two debug ports. This board also includes additional memory, such as DDR3L-SDRAM and DDR3L-SDRAM/DDR2-SDRAM. Additionally, it provides the ability to utilize additional audio codecs, a graphics processor, dual accelerators, and a real-time clock.
Master PTT Board
The Master PTT Board is the mainboard for the TUNAG004. It features two MIPI DisplayPort connections, an HDMI connection, and one USB 3.0 port. It also includes a processor, which can be switchable between a Freescale i.MX6Q ARM Cortex-A9 processor and a TI AM335x ARM Cortex-A8 processor. Additionally, this board provides an optional 802.11 b/g/n WiFi/BT 4.0/BLE module.
Expansion Processor Board
The Expansion Processor Board is an extension board that provides additional processing capabilities for the TUNAG004. This board features a Freescale i.MX6Q ARM Cortex-A9 processor, as well as external memory, such as DDR3L-SDRAM, DDR3L-SDRAM/DDR2-SDRAM. Additionally, it provides additional I/O, such as an LVDS interface, mini PCI-e slot, and PCIe slot. Finally, this board includes an optional 802.11 b/g/n WiFi/BT 4.0/BLE module.
Working Principle
The working principle of the TUNAG004 Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit is to provide a basis for development and testing of a variety of embedded products. By providing two processors, one Master PTT board, and one Mezzanine board, the system is able to function as a fully-fledged development platform that can be used to develop, debug, and test various embedded products.
