The Texas Instruments TUSB1042EVM is an evaluation platform designed for development, evaluation and demonstration of TUSB1042 bridges. It provides a convenient test platform for evaluating the features of the TUSB1042 Bridges, such as data port bridging, bridge configuration, power sequencing, control logic functions, and other features. It also provides a quick and easy way for engineers to evaluate the capabilities of the TUSB1042 bridges. The TUSB1042EVM platform consists of an integrated test board and a series of external connectors and cables. The TUSB1042EVM is designed to evaluate TUSB1042s as a communications bridge between embedded systems and full-speed and high-speed USB devices. The evaluation board features two sets of connectors which are used to interface the TUSB1042 Bridge to the host systems.The TUSB1042EVM test board includes a USB connector for connecting TUSB1042 to a USB host, such as a PC or notebook.
