TVS - Thyristors
Thyristors (also known as SCRs or silicon control rectifiers) are a type of semiconductor switch used commonly in power electronics. Based on their semiconductor or diode-like properties, thyristors are used to control electric power. Thyristors are capable of turning power on and off in response to a small signal amount change in the trigger current or voltage. Due to their low cost and relatively simple design, thyristors are commonly used in many devices, from power supplies to protective devices.
TVB075NSA-L Application Field and Working Principle

This function limits the anode-cathode voltage when the thermal load exceeds surface temperature (Tjmax). This prevents device destruction while allowing some acceptance of over-transient voltages.
