TVP06B560A-G is a most common type of Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) diode. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic components from power surges and overvoltage. This device is rated for continuous operating temperature ranges ranging from -65 to +175 ℃. Its construction is of plastic package which has improved endurance characteristics and better solderability. Its very low capacitance ensures excellent transient protection when used in parallel with the signal line. The device provides fast response time of 10ns and low clamping voltage of 5.7V normally open terminal. It has also passivated oxide for improved reliability.

Application Field

TVP06B560A-G is mainly used in computer, communication system, and consumer electronics as a protective component. It is designed to protect against inductive and transients spikes caused by, lightning, power cross, and other sources. It is used in vehicles to protect against over voltage conditions that may result from battery jump starts or voltage differentials. Working Principle

The main purpose of the TVP06B560A-G is to provide protection from overvoltage conditions. It works by controlling the flow of current through the device by clamping down the voltage that exceeds its breakdown threshold.
