Working Principle

This connector is designed to have secure board-to-board connections with high power ratings while maintaining signal integrity. It works by having contacts on the board, which contact mating connector contacts. The contacts are carried on metal stamper receivers which are designed to accommodate mating contacts.

Assembly of the connector involves clipping an actuator onto the board and pressing down the metal stamper receivers. This locks the metal stamper receivers into the respective contacts in the board. The mating contacts in the mating connector can then be inserted into the metal stamper receivers and are held in place by the actuators. When the mating connection is made, the power transfer is activated and enables the two printed circuit boards to work together.

In addition, TX25-30P-8ST-N1E also features polarization which aids in providing direction of board mating. This enables proper mating of the two boards, as the mating contacts on the second board will only allow insertion in the correct direction. This helps to ensure a secure and reliable connection.
