  • Application Field
    • TXD2-L-12V-4 relays are designed to switch signal levels up to 2A and are mainly used to control lighting in buildings.   • Working Principle
    • TXD2-L-12V-4 relays use low current control signals to control higher current signals. This is achieved through an electromagnet inside the relay. It is formed by winding a coil of wire on an iron core; when the coil is energized, a magnetic field is generated. This magnetic field is used to open and close the various electrical contacts that control the high current circuit. Depending on the type of relay, different contacts and coils are used to open and close the contacts when power is applied or removed.
    • When the coil is not energized, the spring force takes the potential contacts. When the coil is energized, the contacts are electromagnetically forced on or off depending on polarity. When the energizing voltage is removed, the contacts will return to their original position due to the spring force.
