The chip employs a control PWM integrated circuit, and supplements a low voltage oscillator circuit, power control, etc. It is able to achieve zero voltage soft switching, thus reaching a higher power efficiency. Its features include low startup current, high voltage gain margin, low standby power in the high power level, high integration, and so on.

The two important components of U5Y0064 are the power conversion circuit and the control circuit. The power conversion circuit consists of main power transistor, converter primary side components; the control circuit includes a control PWM integrated circuit, and several other control analog and digital components. During normal operation of the power supply, U5Y0064\'s control circuit will generate control signals for the power conversion circuit.
