The UCC2626PWG4 can also be configured for current mode control operation. In this mode, the current limit is set by the user, based on the requirements of the system. The current feedback is compared with the preset current limit value and the gates of the power MOSFETs get opened and closed accordingly to maintain the set current limit value. The other feature of the device is that it helps in the start-up process of the motor. The gate drivers are enabled when the start-up condition is detected. Following this, the PWM pulses begin to be generated to maintain the desired speed and torque of the motor.
