Power Factor Correction (PFC) is a technique used for improving the efficiency of AC to DC power converters. The goal of PFC is to increase efficiency by reducing the amount of current used in the conversion process. The UCC28063DR is a nonisolated, peak-current-mode PFC controller designed to operate in power factor correction (PFC) circuits.
