It has a sample and hold circuit to store values for digital conversion.For digital-to-analog conversion, the UM5- 2466 has a 4-channel 10-bit D/A converter which can output analog signals at up to 10KHZ. The Pulse-width modulation (PWM) ports support 12-bit resolution. This enables the device to control motor speed or dimmable lights. With the Event Counter port, the UM5-2466 is capable of counting pulses up to 4KHZ.The UM5-2466 is a powerful and reliable industrial device which is capable of performing several functions.
