Working Principle
V14MLA0805LT is part of the family of electrically triggered TVSs, which have the added benefit of acting as a self-trigger device. The TVS then discharges the excess voltage so that the normal operating voltage can be restored. This helps in avoiding permanent damage to the components due to voltage overshoots.
