Transient Voltage Suppressors, or TVSs, are protection devices which can be used to avoid damaging or disrupting the operation of a device or system when an overload voltage occurs. They are divided into two main types: Voltage Varistors (VV) and Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs). The V20E175P belongs to the family of MOVs and is specially designed for applications involving high voltages, high current-handling capabilities, and high peak power capabilities.
