As the transient voltage decreases, the Varistor will immediately stop conducting and return to its high resistance state.
The V24ZC50 Varistor has an energy rating of 10 Joules, which enables it to absorb and dissipate considerable amounts of energy. The device is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +110°C and is equipped with an overvoltage protection circuit.
