Varistor is a generic term for voltage-dependent resistors. A metal oxide varistor (MOV) is a specific type of varistor used to protect against overvoltages. The V275LA2PX1347 varistor is a quality multi-layered MOV with operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
