TVS (transient voltage suppressor) is a kind of device that can rapidly suppress and absorb surge voltages, and protect the electronics and electrical equipment from being damaged by overvoltage transient. It can better protect the electronic and electrical components than the other components such as varistors, MOVs (metal oxide varistor), arrestors, fuses and other overvoltage protection products. The V275LC40BPX2855 is a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) specifically designed to be used in high voltage transient applications.

The V275LC40BPX2855 has wide application field.
