TVS - Varistors, MOVsThe V275LC40CP is a surface-mount Varistor device of excellent performance. It is commonly used to protect electrical and electronic components against shock and other transient voltages. A Varistor, also known as a Voltage-dependent Resistor (VDR), is a three-terminal electronic component that exhibits a nonlinear voltage-current characteristics. It consists of two semiconductor layers with an intermediate layer of a non-linear material, typically a ceramic material.
