The V320LA20A is a chip based transient voltage suppressor (TVS) device which has been designed and optimized for applications in consumer electronics. It is available in the popular SOD-323 surface-mount package and is specifically designed to protect against transients in data lines, as well as offer system-level protection against transient spikes. The V320LA20A is part of the LA series of transient voltage suppressors. These devices are used in a variety of applications, including protection of audio, video, and communications signals and devices for overvoltage protection.

The V320LA20A is a bidirectional TVS diode which is designed to protect against voltage transients and spikes from external sources. It uses Silicon Avalanche technology and has an excellent clamping ability and robustness against extreme input transient or ESD conditions. Its maximum bidirectional working voltage range is from -75V to +75V and it can withstand a maximum repetitive ESD pulse of 8kV.
