DC DC Converters

A DC to DC converter is an electrical circuit that steps up or steps down electrical voltage by converting direct current (DC) from one voltage level to another. There are two main types of DC to DC converters - linear and switch-mode. Switch-mode converters are the most common type, as they have higher efficiency and more features than linear converters.
