The V39RA16 is an excellent voltage transient protector device that is used in a variety applications. It consists of a proprietary silicon-oxide-nitride-oxide-silicon (SONOS) structure that provides functionally unlimited charges and discharges to protect electrical and electronic components from voltage transients. When exposed to an overvoltage, MOVs will dissipate the transient energy by providing a low-impedance path to ground. MOVs are ideally suited for circuits that require a rugged, cost effective and reliable protection system. The V39RA16 is an MOV device and is designed to provide protection from high-energy surges and transient voltages up to 1,500V.The V39RA16 is an excellent device for protecting electronics and electrical components from voltage transients.
