The V510LS80CP device features two back-to-back Telecommunication Grade, Silicon Avalanche Diode (TVS for short). The main function of the device is to clamp over-voltages created by transients. The base element of the V510LS80CP is a bipolar junction. This junction consists of two semiconductors oriented at different electrical polarizations.
