Working Principle

In this stage, the internal diodes and varistors limit the voltage on the output line, thus providing protection against the transient voltage

The V511HC32 also has an integrated thermal fuse which will open upon exceeding its trip temperature. This provides an additional layer of protection against thermal stress and helps to prevent the device from being damaged in the event of an over temperature event.
