Operation Principle

When the plunger is pushed in, it pushes the actuator shaft assembly, which is attached to a contact arm. The contact arm then moves the contact arm over the switch contact, where the contact arm will close the contact.

The switch is designed to provide an audible “click” sound when the switch is actuated. This sound indicates that the switch has successfully closed its contacts and that the external force has been applied. The switch is mechanically biased such that it stays closed unless an external force is applied.
