Snap Action, Limit Switches all employ the same basic principle. In its simplest form, a switch is activated when an object passes through a defined space, often referred to as the "gate", and thereby triggers a response. VB-6111 switches are a type of limit switch, or "snap action" switch, which is characterized by it fast response time and its ability to open or close circuit contacts quickly and accurately.
