In VLMY3000-GS18, the device principle is based on the insertion of a Gallium Nitride (GaN) semiconductor layer attached to a gallium arsenide (GaAs) substrate, which further attached to an anode electrode, while a separate cathode is also attached to the structure.

When users trigger its command input to the device, the electricity will pass through the anode and cathode, activating the semiconductor layer, which generated a stimulated light emission particle. This tiny particle turned into a visible light with strong luminosity, giving real-time information to users.
