The VLP270XUF is a part of the polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PTC) resettable fuse line from Littelfuse. Unlike traditional fuses which need to be replaced, this PTC fuse will automatically reset itself and start working again after an overload or short-circuit event is cleared.
The VLP270XUF PTC resettable fuse is designed mainly for battery powered applications, including consumer electronics, cordless electronics, small appliances, and medical equipment. It is especially suited for Li-Ion and Li-Polymer battery packs in electronic products such as digital cameras, mobile phones, GPS devices, tablets, and portable music players.
