VN340SPTR-E is a Power Distribution Switches, Load Drivers developed by ON Semiconductor, which serves as a key component in PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit). It is designed to enable simple yet reliable power management and switching capability in a wide range of automotive and industrial applications. It is capable of effectively handling high-temperature environments, static loads, and high-frequency switching requirements in a wide range of applications.

The VN340SPTR-E features integrated Circuits with level shift outputs, which enable direct drive of load drivers, with a maximum voltage of over 20V. The four independent output drivers are designed for operating both in static and high-temperature dynamic operation. The device is also equipped with an Emergency Off feature to provide an immediate shutdown of all outputs, in case of an emergency. The device also provides a low standby current of 0.5uA, and an ESD protection of up to 75V.

The working principle of VN340SPTR-E is simple. First, an input voltage of 0V to 30V is supplied to the power stage, and the device is enabled while the logic is low.
