The VNL5300S5TR-E is a power management and distribution device specially developed for automotive applications. The ECU can detect and control the operating temperature of components and other indicators.
The S5TR transistors are designed to operate in an environment of up to 125°C and feature a fast switching speed of 1.0 ms. The E transistors are designed to operate in a temperature range of - 40°C - 125°C, with a switching speed of 6.0 ms. The S5TR and E transistors have a low on-resistance of 4.5 Ohms and 3 Ohms respectively, and can be used to control power up to 6A.
The VNL5300S5TR-E features an internal over-temperature protection circuit, a sleep mode, an over-current protection circuit, and a low drop-out voltage regulator. The over-temperature protection circuit provides increased safety by monitoring the temperature of components and regulating the power flow.
