It is also capable of supplying up to 1A of continuous current up to a maximum peak of 2A.The VNP7N04 driver has a fast rise-time (75ns typical) and a fast turn-on time (150ns typical) which allows it to drive a wide variety of loads with efficiency. In addition, the device includes an over-temperature safety mechanism which disables it if the junction temperature exceeds 150°C and automatically re-enables it once it has cooled down to a safe level.The VNP7N04 is available in a five volatile memory cell version (VNP7N05), which can be configured for different operating conditions as required.
