When the input voltage is lower than the switching threshold voltage, the FET is turned off and the output voltage is pulled to ground. This allows the VO215AT to selectively transmit only the portion of a signal that exceeds the threshold voltage, while providing electrical isolation between the input and output circuits.In addition to higher performance, the VO215AT offers excellent thermal resistance, with a 1.2°C/W thermal resistance junction-to-ambient. The package is UL-recognized, and it meets ESD ratings of Class 2 (± 6 kV). The device is also RoHS compliant and is designed to withstand temperatures up to 125°C for soldering.The VO215AT is ideal for a wide range of applications, including communications, medical, industrial, and automotive.
