Working Principle

The VS-16CTQ100PBF is a four-pin, high peak current rectifier bridge with reverse voltage protection. It is capable of switching in less than 1μs and can operate at high frequencies. The P-MOS gate is protected by a built-in ESD protection circuit. The switch is controlled by an on-off logic control signal. When the voltage applied to the control signal exceeds 2V, the rectifying element conducts current and the output voltage will increase to the normal value.

When the switch is turned off, the output voltage decreases and the diode turns off in 1μs. By using the P-MOS driver, the diode can switch from off-state to on-state in less than 1μs. This bridge rectifier offers excellent temperature stability and low on-state voltage drop.
