Working Principle

The three phases of the alternating current (AC) voltage—A, B and C—are fed into the VS-60CPH03-N3 in the standard configuration. Its internal rectifier diodes act like valves, only allowing the positive half of the current to pass through and absorb the negative half. This full-wave rectification produces a direct current (DC) output. The VS-60CPH03-N3 uses its low forward voltage drop (VF) of 0.7V to help reduce the voltage losses associated with rectification.
