Working Principles

The VS-6CWQ04FNTRLHM3 is an integrated device that includes both quad-channel rectifier diodes and an integrated-gate-structure (IGFET) power switch. The device utilizes an intelligent Energy Fairness™ process that provides a balanced charge distribution across the capacitive components of the system. The gate of the IGFET switch is commanded by the DC/DC controller and its gate drive is supplied by the output of the power converter. The FET structure is such that it can be commanded either to suppress or to enhance its conduction characteristics, allowing for efficient energy distribution.
