| VS-86HFR100 is a high-performance diode rectifier module developed by volt’s R&D team. Using the latest generation of MOSFETs, the VS-86HFR100 diode module is designed for low power conversion efficiency, small size and high reliability. Vs-86HFR100 is a single phase diode rectifier module, with a maximum power rating of 850W, a peak surge current of 1000A, and a junction temperature of 125C. This diode module is ideally suited for applications such as power converters, power supplies and motor drives.The working principle of the VS-86HFR100 diode module is simple. When a voltage is applied across the input terminals of the diode module, the diode begins to allow the current to flow in one direction (from the anode to the cathode) while the reverse polarity current is blocked by the built-in diodes. This process is known as rectification.The VS-86HFR100 diode module consists of two series connected diodes for rectification, and an additional bypass/protection resistor for improved reliability. The two diodes are mounted in a common heat sink for better heat dissipation. The diode module also features an integrated MOSFET that helps to reduce the total number of components, decrease the complexity of the circuit, and reduce EMI radiation by providing low-noise operation. The diode module also has built-in protection against thermal overloading to ensure safe, reliable operation.The VS-86HFR100 can be used in a variety of applications ranging from power converters, power supplies and motor drive systems.
