Working Principle of VS-MBRD340TRL-M3

VS-MBRD340TRL-M3 works on a principle called rectification. In this process, a single-phase or three-phase alternating current is converted into direct current. It is made with a special semiconductor material (usually silicon-based) which allows electricity to flow in one direction only, blocking it in the opposite direction. To do this, the diode is placed in a circuit that is connected to an alternating current source, such as a transformer. As the voltage across the diode changes, it changes the diode\'s resistance to electric current. When the voltage is low, during the negative half-cycle, the diode acts like an open switch, stopping the electric current from passing through it. During the positive half-cycle, the voltage across the diode is high enough to provide enough “push” for the current to pass through the diode. This alternating current is converted into direct current.
