The VS-MBRD650CT-M3 consists of two thyristor stacks, connected in series, with a total of four junctions. The average voltage is adjusted by changing the alternating frequency of the current, while the average current is adjusted by varying the reverse voltage.The VS-MBRD650CT-M3 rectifier operates by controlling the flow of current, creating a unidirectional waveform. The waveform is adjusted based on four factors: the forward voltage of the thyristors, the forward current of the thyristors, the trigger delay of the thyristors, and the reverse voltage of the thyristors. When the forward current of the thyristors reaches the trigger voltage, the thyristors switch on, allowing current to flow through them. The thyristors remain on until the reverse voltage drops below the trigger voltage, at which point they switch off and the current flow is stopped.By carefully adjusting the four factors, the VS-MBRD650CT-M3 can achieve perfect voltage and current waveforms. This makes it ideal for heavy-duty applications such as electric motors and welding tools, where exact voltage and current waveforms are required.
