The W25Q40CLUXIG TR is a quad-SPI Flash memory component developed by Winbond Electronics Corporation. It is categorized within the memory range and provides excellent quality, reliability, and integrate performance.

The chip also features Sector Protection (SP) which allows the user to protect up to 4Megabytes of code.
The W25Q40CLUXIG TR also offers advanced ECC algorithms which increase the performance and reliability of memory transactions. The ECC algorithms enable data integrity and reliability checks throughout the device including during programming and read operations. The device is compliant with the JEDEC/SPI standard, ensuring smooth integration with any Single/Dual/Quad SPI compliant development board.
The W25Q40CLUXIG TR offers various low power modes, namely, Hibernation and Deep Power-Down mode. The Hibernation mode allows the device to function with lower power consumption, pause its program execution, resume operations when required and perform commands such as write/erase and programming during Hibernation mode. Additionally, the Deep Power-Down mode offers the lowest power mode, consuming less than 10uA.
