Working Principle

The W83L351G interface module contains ENC28J60; a standalone SPI Ethernet controller chip. It contains a full Ethernet MAC layer, TCP stack, and a PHY transceiver. This chip handles all the low level Ethernet Framing, CRC calculations and packet forwarding. It also includes a 4KB FIFO buffer and 4 independent register sets.

The ENC28J60 chip allows the W83L351G interface module to communicate with Ethernet people. The module can receive frames from Ethernet people and transmit them to the microcontroller.
