The WAU8812RG is an integrated transceiver solution with an inbuilt Direct Conversion transceiver from Realtek. It reduces system EMI, while providing cost-effective solutions to WLAN applications. Utilizing Antenna Diversity technology, the WAU8812RG features a high gain antenna diversity function that improves signal reception to allow high speed data rate connection. In cellular systems, WAU8812RG provides a low interference solution by using dynamic frequency hopping technology.
The WAU8812RG is ideal for 802.11b/g/n WLAN applications. With multiple antenna diversity options and support for up to 5 GHz frequencies, the WAU8812RG can provide solutions for various applications including Wi-Fi hotspots, smartphone connections, streaming media, Wireless LANs, Local Area Networks (LANs), and connected vehicle networks. It supports the latest security protocols such as WPA and WPA2, which allow for secure connection for data transmission and authentication.
