WDU24-300 is a series of AC/DC desktop power supply, wall pads and switches for use in the industrial, medical and lighting industry. It offers a wide range of features with its low-AC input voltage range, advanced control features, wide input voltage range, and a wide range of output current levels.The basic working principle of WDU24-300 is to convert available AC power of range 100 to 265V AC to a regulated DC output voltage of 3.3, 5, 9 and 12V. In addition, it also provides an adjustable output voltage range, high efficiency and low noise operation. The power supply can be configured using either a mechanical switch or the fire HDOC control interface.The design of WDU24-300 power supply is based on the basis of high power factor, low harmonic distortion, high voltage conversion efficiency and high reliability. It uses advanced switch power conversion technology and enhances the performance of the power supply. This helps the user to achieve their power conversion goals using a smaller form factor with advanced control and improved reliability.The power topology of the WDU24-300 is based on advanced Flyback topology with an active "Load Regulation" and "Burn In" circuit design. The power supply features an internal protection circuit which can detect over current, over temperature and AC line over voltage conditions and engage "burn-in" or "shut-down" mode accordingly. This can be used to protect the AC input from over current and over voltage conditions.The WDU24-300 power supply offers two different control modes, mechanical and HDOC. Mechanical mode is used for manual AC to DC conversion. It requires manual selection switches or knobs to set the AC input voltage and the output parameters. HDOC mode, on the other hand, is used for automated power conversion. It requires a special HDOC control hardware and corresponding software to communicate with the power supply and set the AC to DC conversion parameters. The mechanical switch of the WDU24-300 offers full range input voltage selection in conjunction with an LED indicator. This helps operators to easily select the appropriate AC input voltage and the output parameters without risking any harm to the load. The mechanical switch also serves to select the over voltage detection level.The WDU24-300 power supply is ideal for use in a wide range of applications including industrial, medical and lighting.
