The WL1801MODGBMOCT RF transceiver module is a high-performance transceiver for short-range wireless communication applications. It operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band and integrates a high-performance, low-power radio transceiver and a powerful RF baseband processor to provide a complete, robust radio platform for ultra-low power communication.

The WL1801MODGBMOCT RF transceiver module is designed for applications requiring the latest in communication technology, offering a host of features available only on the latest generation of RF transceivers. It provides high data rate communication and uses a digital spread spectrum modulation scheme for excellent coexistence with other wireless communication devices. The WL1801MODGBMOCT also supports advanced frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) for high resistance to interference from other 2.4 GHz devices. Additionally, it provides automatic radio frequency (RF) channel selection and adjustable output power.

In addition to the excellent performance and features provided by the WL1801MODGBMOCT RF transceiver module, its application fields include industrial, consumer and automotive, as well as machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) communication. Its application field ranges from high-volume consumer electronics to embedded applications in a variety of devices and systems, including industrial, medical, automotive, home automation and security.

The WL1801MODGBMOCT RF transceiver module also supports a wide range of data rates starting from 2.4 kbps in the 2.4 GHz ISM band. It can be used for low-power wireless communication with long range. The RF transceiver operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band and supports frequency hopping spread spectrum and direct sequence spread spectrum modulation schemes. The module is also highly configurable through the SPI/UART interfaces and provides a wide range of features, including battery-saving mechanisms, bit error rate adjustments, time-out settings, digital filtering and relative signal strength indicator.

The WL1801MODGBMOCT RF transceiver module works in one of two modes: active or passive. In the active mode, the RF transceiver module transmits data in intervals. The device sends out its own transmission frames, which are received by compatible receivers in the 2.4 GHz ISM band and converted into readable data. In the passive mode, the RF transceiver module listens for incoming transmission frames and obtains data from compatible transmitters in the 2.4 GHz ISM band.
