Film Capacitors are components used to store electrical energy and to allow electrical current to pass through them. They are often used in power applications, but can also be used in a range of other applications. It is designed to deliver reliable performance at frequencies between 100kHz and 10MHz, and can be used in inverters, dc-dc converters, and EMI filter applications. Furthermore, it is capable of handling peak currents up to 330A, making it ideal for high power applications.In general, the WMF4D1K is a reliable film capacitor which is capable of delivering reliable power delivery over a range of frequencies and peak current ratings. It is designed to have low ESR and micro-phonics levels, making it suitable for a range of applications, particularly those which require high frequencies for operation.
