The WP26-P042VA1-R15000 is an array edge type mezzanine connector designed for board to board signal and power application. It features a ruggedized, two-part construction with a reinforced envelope designed to withstand tough, high-vibration and environmentally demanding applications. The connector has two sides, one being the top contact and the other the bottom contact. Each side has seven to twelve contacts in a straight or staggered row configuration.
The WP26-P042VA1-R15000 adopts a push-pull latching system, and the signal contacts are all solder-type contacts that can be soldered into the PCB directly. The female side has two board locks that hold the connector to the PCB while a spring-loaded latch on the male side locks it in place. This type of connector has an operating temperature range from -40°C up to 85°C and has an insulation resistance of greater than 10 gigaohms (10G) for one minute.
