WP813ID belongs to the LED indication - Discrete product data. It is a standard two color LED loaded with a resistor prewired on lead wires. Both of the dual color LED and resistor are sealed from environmental effect. The lens body is made of Nylon which features an excellent resistance for vibration and chemical corrosion. The WP813ID each has a red LED and green LED prewired with a series resistor so that current is limited to the LEDs for best performance and longer lifetime.

The WP813ID is mainly applied to the applications where necessary to indicate the status of the circuits visibly even from the distance. With its higher brightness and increased viewing angle these standard two color lamps are required in many alarms, indicators, and backlight systems wherever rigid standards require maximum vibration and shock resistance.

The working principle of WP813ID is that depending on the polaity of the voltage applied, one of the two LEDs (red/green) lights up. This makes it capable to be used as a differential indicator for detecting the differential voltage change. It has a wide operating voltage range of 2.5V to 15V DC, therefore can be matched with a variety of devices. The default resistor connected with the LED is 150Ω, and the maximum current passing through the LED is 20mA. Besides, Customers can customize their own specific requirements such as appropriate resistance, pins, lead wire length and others.

WP813ID can be combined with its companion product CS813ID which works in the same way but with different material body and lens. CS813ID uses Bulkhead mounting type, and it is made of phosphor bronze which has a longer life expectancy and more strength. Its lens is made of Polycarbonate material which also adds to the life of CS813ID.

WP813ID indicates the electrical status of a circuit or component with two colors, used alone or in combination with other fields. And its extended operating voltage range makes it suitable for a variety of applications.
