Through Hole Resistors

WW3FT1K00 resistors are also known as through hole resistors, which are resistors with wire leads or terminals that pass through a hole in the board to reach the other side. These are the oldest of the resistor types, being in common usage for many decades. WW3FT1K00 resistors are generally favoured for operations where power dissipation and reliability is essential.

Application Field

WW3FT1K00 resistors are primarily used in electronic circuits for numerous applications such as voltage regulation, current limiting, wave shaping, power rating and impedance matching. They are also widely used in the process of thermal management. WW3FT1K00 resistors are preferred over surface mount resistors for motherboard prototyping and critical cooling systems as they can evenly transfer heat from one end to the other.

Working Principle
