The active-low RESET indication output (NOTRESET) indicate the presence of a valid power supply. The XC6119C17ANR-G can be configured with different threshold voltage levels and reset delay times. This can be used to reduce supply ringing (current surges) on power-up which can cause false reset. The reset delay time can be configured to a maximum of hundreds of milliseconds to give the system enough time to establish a valid supply in order to avoid spurious reset. The XC6119C17ANR-G also provide a manual reset input (MORST) which can be used to manually override the reset output in case of emergency. The manual reset is triggered by application of a low level signal between MORST and GND. In addition to providing Supervisors protection, the XC6119C17ANR-G also supports a variety of additional features including a status monitoring by means of anDSR - Deep Sleep Reset output, clock stop detection, and watch dog timer (WDT) reset.
