Working Principle

The XC6121C443ER-G PMIC is based on an advanced voltage monitoring and detection architecture, with added features such as open drain output and built-in voltage detection Hysteresis (VDH). It monitors the battery voltage or supply voltages, and provides an open drain output when either of them falls below the threshold. The monitored voltages can be selected by programming the VR registers on board.

The XC6121C443ER-G PMIC has four functional blocks: a power-on reset (POR) block, two supply voltage monitor (VR) blocks, and a low voltage detector (LVD) block. These blocks sense the input voltages and provide a reset output when any of the monitored voltages falls below the set thresholds.
