The device operates from a single power supply and provides an output voltage that is fixed at 3.0V for over voltage, 0.2V under voltage, −1.5V reset, and 1.5V output in a wide input voltage range from 1.8V to 5.5V.The device includes a power-on reset (POR) timer, a voltage supervisor (VSP), an over voltage protector (OVP) and a low voltage reset (LVR) circuit. POR timer generates an internal reset signal once the power supply reaches a steady state and the voltage level is equal to or greater than the upper threshold (Vop). The VSP monitors the system power supply level, and when the voltage drops below the under voltage threshold (Vud), the device generates a reset signal. The OVP circuitry prevents the system voltage from exceeding the specified upper voltage limit by shutting down the system. When the system voltage reaches the OVP threshold, the device output is placed in a “tri-stated” mode. The LVR circuitry monitors the system power supply input and when the voltage falls below the reset threshold, the device generates a reset signal.The XC6123A244ER-G is suitable for applications where high accuracy and ultra-low quiescent current are required.
