<p>XC74WL241ASR is a low-power single-chip IC that included in the logic family classified as buffers, drivers, receivers, transceivers. It has an array of logic functions which includes 4-bit buffers, 4-input multiplexers and two 4-input universal mixed logic gates. This device suits well in the application range of low power mixed signal systems such as embedded microprocessor supervisory, data acquisition system and controllers, low-power receivers and power-saving transceivers.</p><p>The XC74WL241ASR contains two identical four bit buffers with separate inputs and outputs. The buffer input signals are capable of driving up to 3000pF. The logic level of VCC is therefore detected very fast in order to get the proper input high and low logic signals. Output high logic levels are assured for source and sink currents up to 5mA.</p><p>The XC74WL241ASR contains two 4 input multiplexers that within a single device. Each multiplexer provides multiplexing capability between four address lines and two data lines, such as C3=A0*D0+A1*D1+A2*D2+A3*D3. The multiplexer is enabled when enable is high, and the appropriate data line, dependent on the value of A0-A3, is switched out at the output.</p><p>The two 4-input universal logic gates consists of AND, OR, NAND, NOR logic blocks in a single device, thus allowing for a wide range of Boolean blok functions&8211; for example, F=AB+CD, G=AB+CD\'+DE where A-D are Boolean inputs and F, G are outputs. These universal gates use CMOS technology to conserve power and the outputs stay low with inputs of 0 and 0.</p><p>Therefore, with its array of logic functions, XC74WL241ASR is an ideal device for low power mixed signal systems such as embedded microprocessor supervisory, data acquisition systems, controllers and transceivers.
